Installing Ubuntu 12.04 tls was easy, it took like 15 minutes, and I formatted the ssd, so there is no going back to fat 32.
I used a usb dvd-rom. There is a trick, if the usb dvd drive doesn't want to boot. Start your computer, hit "thinkvantege" button, go to bios, exit bios, hit "thinkvantage" again, choose boot drive and here you go.. usb dvd drive appears.
After logging in, most things seems to work, like sound, wifi, bluetooth, sd drive, battery meter, compiz 3d effects.
Trackpoint needs more sensitivity, or acceleration. Text is a bit too big for my taste.
